„Un peisaj hibernal abstract-expresionist în care elementele reale sunt ridicate la rang de simbol,facând posibilă transmiterea alegorică a mesajului.

Jucându-mă puțin cu perspectiva,am încercat să pun în această lucrare "nitica  scamă de zare ", cum ar spune Arghezi...

Naivitatea,puritatea și bucuria copilărească fac să răsune ulițele satului de colindele tradiționale coborâte parcă din altă lume.

E ajunul sărbătorilor de iarnă.Printre troiene și viscol,un grup de copii colindă pe la casele gospodărilor,risipite pe dealuri.

La o analiză mai profundă,actul în sine al colindului este unul cu adânci semnificații,vorbind de nevoia de spiritualitate a unui popor cu adânci rădăcini în istorie.

În jurul grupului de colindători nu e doar natura rascolită de viscol...

De la porțile nevăzute ale văzduhului îi întâmpină pe colindători spiritele strămoșilor ce veghează asupra noastră,nevazuți,de dincolo de vreme."

„Carols singers”

Author's description:

„An abstract-expressionist winter landscape in which the real elements are raised to symbol rank, making possible the allegorical transmission of the message.

Playing a little with the perspective,I tried to put into this artwork "some lint of shining light", as Arghezi would say ... The childish naivety,purity and joy make the  streets of the village resound of traditional carols that seem to come down from another world.

It's the eve of the winter holidays. 

Dashing through the snow under the blow of the blizzard,a group of children are singing carols at the householders' gates whose houses are scattered on the hills.

In a deeper analysis, the act itself of the carols is deeply meaningful, speaking of the need for spirituality of a people with deep roots in history.

Around the group of singers is not just the nature blasted by the blizzard ... From the unseen gates of the sky we meet the spirits of the ancestors who watch over us, unseen, beyond the time."

Technique - Oil -l.o cardboard 30 x 40 cm.(With frame 36 x 46 cm)
