„Copilăria – inima tuturor vârstelor, o floare evanescentă al cărei parfum rămâne imprimat în suflet, purtându-ne mereu spre un tărâm unde timpul nu cunoaște hotare. Aici, la granița dintre vis și amintire, totul este posibil, iar miracolul devine legea nescrisă a existenței.

În acest colț de lume neatins de griji, unde râsul răsună ca un ecou al veșniciei, copilul își desfășoară jocurile asemenea unui demiurg, modelând realitatea din lutul visării. Nu cunoaște frica, nu se împiedică de limite. Cu ochii mari și sufletul curat, caută și găsește totul în nimic, transformând fiecare colț al lumii într-o nouă aventură.

Universul copilăriei este sacru prin simplitatea lui. Este locul unde culorile sunt mai vii, unde lumina vibrează altfel, unde fiecare suflare a vântului șoptește povești nemuritoare. Aici, norii devin corăbii, umbrele prind glas, e tărâmul de la vămile cerului unde timpul fizic se dilată și tinde spre infinit.Ignorând pericolele, copilul, din nevoia sa de cunoaștere, caută și găsește totul în nimic, imortalizând în suflet nesfârșitele povești.

Thomas Henry Huxley spunea în discursul "Educaţia tehnică: „secretul geniului este să îți transferi la maturitate spiritul copilăriei.” Poate că tocmai această magie l-a consacrat pe Salvador Dalí, care mărturisea: „În copilărie atât de mult m-am crezut geniu, încât până la urmă am și ajuns.”

Tu îți mai amintești? Când ai râs ultima oară cu aceeași libertate? Când ai alergat fără să te gândești unde duce drumul? Îți mai amintești mirosul pământului ud după ploaia de vară, trosnetul frunzelor sub pașii tăi, jocurile care nu aveau nevoie de reguli, doar de imaginație? Cât de departe ai lăsat copilul care ai fost? Sau poate încă mai trăiește în tine, așteptând un semn să iasă la lumină?

Astăzi, cei mai apropiați de artă, de cultură, poate că mai putem regăsi această parte a ființei noastre doar în paginile unei opere literare sau în fața unei capodopere vizuale, ca o poartă spre acel univers suspendat în timp. O lume care încă există în unii dintre noi, în feluri subtile, nealterată de trecerea anilor, neatinsă de timp. Copilăria – cea mai pură și naturală perioadă a vieții, e singurul loc- înafară de moarte - prin care trecem și nu ne mai putem întoarce niciodată."

Thomas Henry Huxley said in his speech "Technical Education: "the secret of genius is to transfer to maturity the spirit of childhood." Perhaps it was this magic that consecrated Salvador Dalí, who confessed: "In childhood I thought myself a genius so much that in the end I became one."

Do you still remember the smell of wet earth after the summer rain, the rustling of leaves under your steps, the games that needed no rules, only imagination? How far did you leave the child you were? Or maybe it still lives inside you, waiting for a sign to come to light?

Today, those closest to art, to culture, perhaps we can still find this part of our being only in the pages of a literary work or in front of a visual masterpiece, as a gateway to that universe suspended in time. A world that still exists in some of us, in subtle ways, unaltered by the passing of the years, untouched by time. Childhood – the purest and most natural period of life, the only place we pass through – apart from death, but where we can never return."
