Devenit celebru datorită imortalizării într-o piesă de teatru, un spectacol de operă și numeroase filme, acest nume „Madame Sans-Gêne” a fost dat de Napoleon Bonaparte unei persoane reale. Pe numele ei Marie-Thérèse Figueur, micuța „Sans-Gêne” a luptat bărbăteste în toate războaiele napoleoniene, dând dovadă de fermitate, vitejie și curaj.
Am realizat acest tablou ca un omagiu adus eternului feminin, care știe să păstreze echilibrul fragil între tandrețe și determinare, între naturalețe și rafinament, dar mai important, conform vremurilor și actuale, între timiditate și lipsă de jenă

Become famous due to immortalization in a play, an opera show and numerous films, this name "Madame Sans-Gêne" was given by Napoleon Bonaparte to a real person. On her name Marie-Thérèse Figueur, the little "Sans-Gêne" fought manfully in all Napoleonic wars, showing firmness, bravery and courage.
I made this painting as a tribute to the eternal feminine, who knows how to keep the fragile balance between tenderness and determination, between naturalness and refinement, but more importantly, according to current times, between shyness and lack of embarrassment.
