„Tărâmul Dacilor”

„Dacii au trăit în armonie cu natura, sfințind cu sudoarea frunții lor pământul care îi hrănea. Au știut să prețuiască roadele minții, ridicând la rang de zeitate un spirit înalt întrupat sub numele de Zamolxe.
Transformandu-l în zeu, l-au asociat și cu viața și cu moartea, și cu pământul, dar și cu soarele.
O religie henoteistă centrată pe zeitatea supremă. Dzio sau Gebeleizis, Khronos ori Mitras, au devenit doar ipostaze ale zeitatii supreme.
De aceea, templul sacru al lui Zamolxe, Kogaionon, este de fapt întreg tărâmul dacilor, în același timp sanctuar, centru de spiritualitate și necropolă.
Tabloul pune alaturi planul material cu cel spiritual, lumea vizibilă cu cea invizibilă, ezoterică.
în decorul hibernal cu căpițe de fân și copaci desfrunziți, Cavalerul trac e surprins la vanatoare pe potecile luminate de Bendiș, zeița Lunii. în văzduhul încărcat de nori de zăpadă și răvășit de crivăț, Zamolxe mai veghează înca pământul străbun lăsat nouă moștenire."

„The realm of Dacians”
Author's description:
"The Dacians lived in harmony with nature, blessing the land that fed them with the sweat of their fronts. They knew how to cherish the fruits of the mind, raising to a rank of deity a high spirit embodied under the name of Zamolxe.
By transforming him into a god,they associated him with life and death,with earth but also with the sun. A henoteist religion centered on the supreme deity. Dzio or Gebeleizis, Khronos or Mitras, became only hypostases of the supreme deity .
Therefore Zamolxe's sacred temple, Kogaionon, is in fact the entire land of the Dacians, at the same time a sanctuary, a center of spirituality and a necropolis.
The painting puts together the material level with the spiritual one , the visible world with the invisible, esoteric world. In the winter decor with hay cocks and deserted trees ,the Thracian Knight is surprised hunting on the paths lit by Bendis,the goddess of the Moon . In the atmosphere loaded with snowy clouds ,spread by the cold wind,Zamolxe is still watching the ancient realm left us as a heritage."
